The VT1100C'85 Shadow 1100 was sold in 1985 in one of two colors: Black with Red or Black with Silver. The gas tank was two-tone black with red or silver; but the side cover was two-tone black with silver. The "SHADOW" side cover decal was silver. The engine was a 1099cc SOHC 3-valve liquid-cooled V-twin linked to a 5-speed transmission and shaft drive. The serial number began 1HFSC180*FA002001.
